It seems FPS fans around the globe can look forward to a smooth and flawless first person combat experience from the moment New World Order will run on their PC for the first time, as today PowerVR announced massive driver support for the game as well (Matrox officially announced
their support last week).

A spokesperson from New World Order publisher Project Three Interactive stated: “Any publisher would be absolutely thrilled to get the support we are receiving for New World Order and so are we. With PowerVR we are able to test the game on yet another set of top-of-the-bill 3D cards, so we’re in seventh heaven right now. We are very grateful for both their hardware and their advice and are
sure the game will run as smooth as a well oiled machine on their cards when we are finished. The consumer is the real winner here.”

Termite Games’ Jim Malmros added: “We are working day and night to make sure the game will be finished in time. Working with cards like those we received from PowerVR makes our lives a lot easier and helps us to push the game to its limits. The frame rates we can now realize are uncanny while the graphics are only improving at the same time. Wonderful stuff !!”

PowerVR Technologies’ Nicolas Thibieroz said: “We are very glad to be included in such a promising project and are really looking forward to beta test the game on our KYRO and KYRO II cards and drivers. We are all very excited about the game and think it will be a winner all the way.”
