1, 2 PROJECT 3

For the last six months there has been much speculation going on about a possible resurfacing of late Dutch publisher Project Two Interactive. Well, they’re back indeed and no kidding, they’re called Project Three.

Project Two seemed to storm the European publisher podium at last year’s ECTS with a dramatic upgrade in the quality of its titles. But it went under unexpectedly just a few months later, mainly due to multiple delayed releases. Project 3 is now picking up the pace where Project Two left it a year ago.

“Obviously nobody wants to experience the going down of a company, but at least there’s one good thing about it: you now where it can go wrong”, says former Project Two CEO Robert Ercevic, who has now teamed up with former Project Two marketing manager Erik Schreuder to form the board of Project Three Interactive. “At ECTS 2000 we have noticed there is still a lot of goodwill left, both from former development and distribution partners. That was nice to know. We analyzed the downfall, thought out an improved strategy and decided it’s time for a comeback.”

So, why not change the name? Schreuder: “That would be a chance missed. Although we have no financial nor legal ties whatsoever with Project Two, it would look like we have something to hide and we don’t. We’ll gladly take the many good things Project Two has accomplished and combine that with our refreshed insights to guarantee a flying start.

We have been working behind closed curtains for a while now and will have some really interesting news to report soon.”
